We have spent several months fine-tuning a unique process that we now use for both our branding and website packages. It has been a true game changer in the way approach projects with each of our clients and we'd love to tell you more about it!
To preface, our previous process was similar to many other designers you'd encounter. A short questionnaire, multiple concepts presented and several rounds of revision. We realized we weren't able to learn as much as we wanted to about our clients in the beginning which was why ended up needing numerous concepts and rounds of revisions. With our improved process, we've addressed these issues by strengthening our knowledge about the business and most importantly, its owner. Then, we have been able to streamline everything else, creating a smooth, enjoyable ride for each client and ending with the product perfectly suited to their needs.
We start with the Discovery Phase, where we learn what you and your company do, but more importantly, who you and your company ARE. By understanding everything we can about your purpose, journey and goals, we are able to use a holistic approach to develop the visual identity that mirrors the heart of your business. We do this through answers to a few initial questions and a call to discuss those questions more in depth and answer any that you have. This phase lasts about a week.
Once we have a thorough idea about who you and your company are, we will dive deeper into what you want your branding to communicate. We will have you complete an in-depth questionnaire so that with your answers, we are able to immerse ourselves in your business. We will send you a thorough strategy presentation to ensure we are all on the same page and then, we will translate our collective vision into one stunning, versatile design concept (whether that be branding or website) during our Design Phase, which is the longest phase and lasts about two weeks.
After we present the complete concept, we will work with you to fine tune the everything so that we’re both confident that your brand, voice and strategy are fully represented. This Refinement Phase varies and can last anywhere from a day or two to a full week.
Finally, at the end of the process , we will provide everything needed to use your branding or website in the real world. All final files are provided in multiple formats and for websites, we provide 30 days of complimentary changes and edits should you have something to add or swap out.
We have loved using this process and have found it to be intuitive, holistic and comprehensive for our clients. We are all for minimized confusion and a greater sense of satisfaction with our services and this method has certainly helped us get there!
