Happy Birthday, Becca!

For Becca's birthday this year, I am following our tradition and asking her a few questions that will give you some insight as to why she's my best friend, business partner and everything in between!

Here are her answers :)

What is the best decision you've ever made? The best decision I ever made was a practical one... to buy real estate as soon as I possibly could. I developed an interest in real estate while in high school, applied as a leasing agent for a property management company and then concentrated in real estate under my business major. As soon as we graduated, Patrick and I started looking for property to buy. We got engaged, bought our townhome when I was 22, lived in it for 5 years and now, we have an income producing asset that pays for part of our mortgage! Excited to buy another condo or townhome in the next few years! 

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received? The best piece of advice I’ve ever gotten was from my dad (like Jenna) and it was when I was learning to drive. He told me, if you want to avoid an accident, stay away from other cars. Obviously, he meant this very literally in the moment but I’ve always applied it to other parts of my life, too (I honestly repeat it to myself all the time) - don’t let anything get in the way of where you want to go. 

What is your favorite life hack that you can share with our friends? One of my favorite life hacks is one I use every day... mason jar smoothies! Did you know a regular mason jar (not the wide mouth ones) screws into most blenders? I have a green smoothie every day for breakfast and I just put the ingredients for a weeks worth of smoothies into individual mason jars and then pull one out every morning, screw it into my blender and go! It’s fast, healthy and so much easier to clean up! Win, win, win! :)

Becca is so thoughtful, creative and helpful. I love her dedication to making our clients feel cared for and cared about. She is so passionate about our business as well as being a mother and I am just so proud of her for always following her dreams and reaching for the stars. I am in awe of her every day and just want to wish her the happiest of birthday's!
